**CONGRATULATIONS** on finding the Free Skidz Partz Web Prim. It is the best way to display a page to your visitors in Second Life. Why do I need this?
Problems this solvesThere are several problems with the way Linden Labs has implented web on prim. For example: for someone to see a web on a prim, they have to click the play button. Getting everyone to click the play button is not so easy. I solved this problem with the Free Web Prim. Most other scripts that try to solve this problem fail when someone steps off the land for a moment and then pops back on. I solved this problem as well. Features:
Getting StartedUnpackingSet out the Skidz Partz - Free Web Prim (boxed). Right click it and choose "Open" from the pie menu. When you see the list of contents finish loading, click the blue button that says, "Copy Contents to Inventory." You will now find the "Skidz Partz - Free Web Prim (boxed)" contents in your inventory. Setting up your Free Web Prim
How to change the URL
Tip: You only need to have one Web Prim out to control the media texture of your land. The texture will display the web page you set to the Web Prim. This means you can apply the media texture to other prims to have the page display there as well. FAQQ. I had it set to one page, then it switched to another. What did I do wrong? A. Do you have more than one out on the same parcel pointing to different web pages? If so, you can't do this. Q. I know this is free, but this is the coolest thing I have ever seen. Can I give you some money anyway? A. :) Yes, feel free to visit my Sandbox where I have several tips jars that would gladly help you in this quest.
