The server cabinet is great for helping organize all your different servers; update servers, vendor servers, multimedia servers, catalog servers, security servers, and radar servers. It comes with built-in security, several servers you can rez up, built-in re-texturing capability, several textures related to server rooms, and open source scripts you can drop into your other servers to auto-align and rez up labels to track your servers better.
Features
  • Built-in security
  • Three different servers included that you won’t find anywhere else
  • Open source script to organize your servers
  • Built-in retexturing capability
  • Incredibly realistic sound effects
  • Access logging
  • Security prim covers server when closed so no one can touch them
  • Lots of extras
Server Cabinet Menu

Rez - The rez menu allows you to rez up a lag monitor server that keeps track of two days of activity, name-2-key server, network adapters, an empty tray, and a time server that tracks local, Second Life, and the sun's time.

Security - The security menu controls who can or can’t open the server cabinet. You can choose Everyone, Group, You, and No One.

Sounds - Turn off and on the sounds or force them to play immediately. When the door is open, the sounds play louder.

Textures - Textures allows you to change the textures of the outside server cabinet and the door. If you have any better textures you would like to donate for this please send to Skidz Tweak.

Log - Allows to get a list of all accesses and attempt access to the server cabinet. You can also turn on and off logging.

Data CD Rack

The Data CD Rack holds several items you will find useful. Here are some details about those items:

Vendor open source script - This is a script you can drop into your JEVN, JENC, and/or Hippo servers that re-textures them with specialty textures, aligns them to the server cabinet automatically, and rezzes up a label that follows the server as you move it around. On the label you can also click it to change what the label says. With up to 15 different labels, you will find the one for you. The script is pretty well documented so feel free to add even more server support. If you do, send it to me and I will drop it in the product for all new sales and updates.

WARNING - This does change the size and textures of your vendor. If you have already changed the size, it might not turn out perfect, but you can always fix it manually.

Textures - The Server Cabinet comes with several textures of computer faces, backs, and much more. All textures are full permission. Please do not sell or give away these textures outright. Sending them to your friends is fine, but please do not give them out or resell them commercially. You can of course sell anything you apply them to. Thanks!

Help Docs - You can find this document here, but you probably already knew that.

Other Details

Sounds - The sounds run at random intervals. There are a total of six different sounds, but they all sound alike. If you open the server cabinet door the sounds do play louder.

About the Different Rez Items

Lag Monitor - It breaks the values down by percentage of time the sim dilation was at. It displays the values right next to yesterday’s values so you can compare them easily. A crash monitor will track just how many times the sim has crashed and a daily average of the sim's dilation (my favorite item in the bunch, I use it all the time). I spent a lot of time on this to make it super low lag. It actually uses less than .012 milliseconds script run time. The lag monitor is in the form of a laptop that will open and close when touching the screen. If you touch the tray it sits on, it will slide in and out of the server cabinet.

Timer Server - The timer server tracks three different times, local, Second Life, and the sun on the current sim. To adjust local time, just change the description to the number of hours to offset from Second Life time. Again, I worked on it assuring this has very low lag item. It uses less than .005 milliseconds script time.

Name-2-Key server - The name to key server allows you to give it a name and it will return the key  related to that name. It uses the w-hat.com servers to get the info. Just say the name on channel one. For example: /1 skidz Tweak. The important thing to remember is that the names are case sensitive.

Tray/Network adapters - The tray and the network adapters just simply slide in and out. The trays' scripts are open source so you can adapt it to fit your needs if you want to add something to it.

I truly strive for high quality. If you see anything I could do better, please do not hesitate to let me know. Thank you for your interest in the Server Cabinet!
